My dear, dear Uncle Stan,
✓ What a privilege to have had you as an uncle for 71 years. I remember when you were young and dashing, putting me on your shoulders, giving me a ride on your motorbike, providing me with cousins, traveling up from Stone to see us in your 3 wheeler and doing the journey twice in one day, so we could see your new home. You were my mom’s baby brother by 16 years ,so you were always very special. After Mom and Dad died, I felt secure in the knowledge that you were always there but now you are not and I miss you. We will all always miss you. However, we will focus now on the happy memories, the love ,the family bond and of course dear Aunty Pat, who has lost the love of her life and was so devoted to the end. You were intelligent generous ,thoughtful, handsome and a large presence in any room. Mom will be so happy to have you home. She probably made a trifle. To Aunty Pat, Ken and Geoff and all the family, I am so sorry for your irreplaceable loss. Rest In Peace my dear uncle Stan.. until we meet again. Love you forever, love you for always.
